Weather permitting, all wedding events will take place in a variety of our venue’s beautiful outdoor spaces. Average seasonal temperatures are high 70’s during the day and low 60’s at night. Please reference our attire section for suggestions on how to dress accordingly.
-
Formal attire is requested but we encourage guests to dress appropriately for the weather and outdoor environment. We strongly discourage wearing high heels, as the terrain throughout our venue is quite uneven. Please reference our attire section for more details, as well as to reference our suggested color palette.
-
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your invitation envelope.
-
We have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event unless otherwise specified to immediate family.

The city of Quissac is somewhat centrally located between many major cities, including Paris, Barcelona, and Milan. Although you have many options on how to structure your travel day, we will provide our personal travel itinerary as a guide, which will include a flight from Chicago to Paris, a train from Paris to Montpellier, and a car from Montpellier to Quissac. Details coming soon.
-
Our wedding coordinator, Dani, will be taking care of booking all off-site accommodations on behalf of our guests. There are also plenty of Airbnb and rental properties in the surrounding area if you prefer to arrange your own accommodations. Details coming soon.

Although it is not necessary, rental car companies are available and accessible throughout France. Most companies can be pre-booked online and are English-speaking (Avis, Budget, Enterprise, etc). If you choose to rent a car, there is free parking available at our venue.

Although it is always helpful to have a base level of knowledge when traveling to a foreign country, an extensive mastery of the French language is not necessary for this trip. We recommend brushing up on some basics (“bonjour,” “merci,” “oui,” “excusez-moi”) as well as using the Google Translate app while abroad.
-
While many of your purchases overseas can be covered with a credit card, we recommend having euros on hand should the need arise. If you need to take out cash while abroad, ATMs are plentiful in most cities.
-
We will have an open bar at the Welcome Dinner (June 12) and Wedding Day (June 13). The Pool Party (June 14) will have a cash bar.
-
We have both decided to keep our respective last names and would appreciate any cards/correspondence to be addressed as such.

You are all traveling overseas to celebrate with us — your presence means the world and is all we ask for. No gifts, please!
